The lost Bible of Barnabas, the greatest secret of the Vatican

THE TEXT REFERS TO THE SO-CALLED “BARNABÉ’S BIBLE” OR “BARBABAS’S BIBLE” (WHICH WOULD BE AN ERROR IN PRINCIPLE, SINCE IT IS NOT A BIBLE BUT A GOSPEL). THIS IS A DOCUMENT OVER 1,500 YEARS OLD, FOUND IN THE SECURITY ROOM OF THE COURT OF JUSTICE OF THE TURKISH CAPITAL, ANKARA. COULD AN APOCRYPHAL VERSION OF THE SCRIPTURES CONCLUDE THE ISLAMIC VERSION OF THE STORY OF JESUS CHRIST? SOMETHING THAT MAY HAVE BEEN DELIBERATELY HIDDEN SINCE THE 4TH CENTURY.

THE LOST GOSPEL OF BARNABAS

One of the best known versions was written by a Spanish Moorish, with basic knowledge of both Islam and Christianity. The purpose of the text is to adapt the version of Christianity to the Islamic vision of Jesus. Thus, Mary’s own son would repeatedly acknowledge that he is not the messiah. In that version Jesus is not crucified either, but Judas is instead, which is why there is no resurrection.

For a long time only an Italian version of the text was known, but in 1976 a partial copy of the text, made in the 18th century, was discovered at the University of Sydney (Australia). In this version there is a preface according to which the edition would have been made by a monk (Fray Marino) who, taking advantage of the fact that Pope Sixtus V had fallen asleep, went to his library and would have found the text, stealing it to read it.

According to this story, the monk, upon reading it, would have decided to convert to Islam and spread the text. Therefore, it is an apocryphal gospel attributed to Barnabas the apostle and referred to in some ancient texts (the Gelasian Decree of approved and unapproved books (Decretum Galasianum), from the 6th century, which cites it among the apocrypha and by the “List of sixty books”, a Greek work from around the 8th century).

The text to which we refer, was seized in 2000 by smugglers in the southern Turkish province of Antalya, it was a 1500-year-old Bible, which had apparently been forgotten in a security room of the Palace of Justice of Ankara (Turkey).

After being rediscovered, the text was moved to the National Ethnological Museum until 2010, where it remains to this day.

This document was written in the Aramaic language and the Assyrian alphabet. It is said that its real value could be more than 25 million dollars, which is why it remained hidden for a decade. The Vatican requested to do analysis and research on the Bible with the permission of the Turkish authorities, since this Bible preserved its historical structure and bears several traces of the period to which it belongs.

The Turkish police launched an investigation to reveal if the Bible was previously copied and it is claimed that even the photocopy of this Bible can be sold at a price of 2 million dollars.

THE CONSPIRACY

According to the defenders of this conspiracy; this text is also known and confused as the gospel of Barnabas mentioned at the beginning of the article, although it was not written by the apostle, but was written later by his alleged followers using oral tradition. Initially it was considered a lost text, in which Paul is mentioned as a traitor.

This text, which for many is shaking the Vatican, is an Apocryphal text, one of many rejected at the controversial Council of Nicaea (where all the existing gospels were discarded until now, except for the four that were later called Canonical). Pope Benedict XVI himself asked the Turkish authorities for a copy of the text to be analyzed by Vatican specialists. Being considered by some analysts, a sign of crisis and of the decline of the Catholic Church itself, in the strange time in which there are two Popes, concurrently for the first time in history. Let us remember that the first ecumenical Council was held in the year 325 in Nicaea, a city in Asia Minor, in the territory of present-day Turkey, and from which it receives the name by which it is known, Council of Nicaea I.

It was summoned by the Roman Emperor Constantine I the Great (who was not a Christian and was not until his deathbed, where he supposedly requested conversion), on the advice of Bishop Hosius of Cordoba.

Currently there are more than 5,000 Christian-based Churches, the Catholic being the most widespread, but not the only one, and unlike others, which have requested assimilation of this possible Gnostic text, which has a total of 52 pages, with paragraphs as suggestive as passages that They speak of the rapture of Christ, prior to the capture and crucifixion (said capture would be carried out by an enraged mass of Jews and not by the Roman army, as indicated by Catholic tradition).

Although later his substitute was handed over to the Romans, to be executed. Unlike the canonical tradition, different Christian confessions strive to recover the apocryphal texts to gradually recover all the texts deliberately distracted during history (such as the famous Gospel of Judas) and that, as in the Gnostic tradition, or the tradition itself Islamic, it is said that Christ was not crucified, but was saved by the angels and Judas took his place.

Therefore, Christ was not resurrected, but would return in the last days as a Prophet of God, to judge the living and the dead.

In this text there are no references to the famous passage on the resurrection on the third day, and significantly it recognizes Jesus as Prophet, and Judas, as someone so physically similar to Jesus and so united with him, that he was mistaken for the Virgin Mary herself, as his own son after dying on the Cross.

In this way, Judas would be the only disciple who really knew the secret plan of Jesus, and he put it into practice, selflessly and like a martyr until the last consequences.

In such a way that the figure most punished by Christianity, according to this apocryphal text, would become the best among the Master’s disciples.

There could be a confusion between the term “third heaven” and “third day”, between the reference to the new coming. Where Barnabas and others would have understood the change between the two and would venerate death, like that of the sacrificed Christ himself, as part of the original plan.

Once again and according to this controversial text, the archangels Michael, Uriel and Raphael brought Jesus back to his disciples and relatives, where he manifested himself before the Virgin, Lazarus, Mary Magdalene and others, and informed them that he was really alive. and that it always was.
